William DeCourcy has spent 15+ years in performance marketing, leading teams at Marriott Vacations Worldwide and AmeriLife. He built Professor Leads to teach what actually works.
William spent 5 years at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, building and scaling performance marketing programs across multiple hospitality brands. He ran teams, managed 8-figure budgets, and learned (sometimes the hard way) what it takes to turn marketing spend into actual revenue.
From there, he moved to AmeriLife, one of the largest insurance distribution companies in the country. As a senior marketing and growth executive, he leads cross-functional teams responsible for lead generation, digital strategy, and marketing operations across a portfolio of companies. He also serves as President of the Insurance Marketing Coalition, working to educate the industry on best practices for lead quality and compliance.
Along the way, William kept noticing the same problem: too many marketers were optimizing for the wrong metrics. Cost per lead looked great on a dashboard, but it didn't tell you anything about revenue. Campaigns that seemed like winners were quietly losing money. And the people who could fix it didn't have access to the frameworks that made the math work.
That's why he created Professor Leads.
Professor Leads is a content platform built to help B2B and B2C marketers make better decisions about lead generation. Through weekly newsletters, video breakdowns, downloadable frameworks, and hands-on tools like the CPR Calculator, William teaches the measurement and strategy concepts that most marketing teams don't learn until they've already burned through their budgets.
